An announcement

Well, The house is coming a long wonderfully and we are all excited to see the progress being made. If you want to see pictures, you will have to visit the facebook page for our house (ran by our construction company). http://www.facebook.com/pages/Frantz-Family-Home/157517207671528

But for our big announcement.... We are having another baby! We are 13 weeks along now and are excited to add the last installment of our little Frantz Family. We are due August 6th, and we are crossing our fingers that the house will be ready to welcome this little Frantz.
I am doing pretty well with this pregnancy, still sick like always, but I am able to function and get the kids to school and wipe bums and change diapers, ALL big accomplishments! I am hoping that the barfs will be gone soon and I can enjoy the rest of the time growing our baby.
In other news, Jesh turned 1!! I will have to post pictures of the little guy. He is still cautious about walking but will take off every now and then.  I will post later about Jesh!

pictures of the house

So, Here are some random pictures of the house.
Our "middle" section is being added because the humongous Glue lam beam is finally hung.

This is a shot from the driveway and will eventually be the front entry area

Same, front entry area.

Looking up at the eventual vault!!
This will eventually be our formal dinning, butlers pantry and kitchen with a small family room in the middle of it all!  The door way at the back is leading into the food storage/pantry.

some pictures of the house

So, things on the home front are finally progressing!  here are some shots from this morning and afternoon.

Here, they are lifting on the trusses! We were totally amazed and sat here watching it all.

here are some more trusses over the kitchen and dining room.

Here is a cool shot right before the trusses went up. The "guys" (as Aaron calls them) stayed extra late last night and got here early this morning to insure all would be ready for the crane!

It is all becoming more real and frightening

Happy birthday!!

The last few weeks have been JAMMED packed with birthdays!  It all started with Tyson's 30 birthday!! I planned a surprise party for him that was AWESOME!! (I know, not too humble!)  Unfortunately, I didn't get any photos. I think someone in the family did but I don't have any! So, you will have to be imaginative.

Second came Leah's 3rd birthday.  She is SO old now!  We had a party with the grandparents and had presents, cake and ice cream.  She had so much fun
Here is Leah before the party.
Here is the castle cake. This darn cake was a disaster from the beginning, so I was THRILLED when it turned out as cute as it did!
And here she is in her glory! She loves to dig in the dirt with Aaron.
No, Jesh did not have a birthday but a post wouldn't be complete without a picture of him. He LOVED the wrapping paper.

Then a couple weeks after that, Aaron turned 5. I cannot believe how old he is.  We had a party with the grandparents too and he could hardly wait until they all arrived.

He asked for a dinosaur cake first then came up with a super hero cake. This is what we came up with.  I tried the fondant route but failed miserably so here is a normal stacked cake with spray food paint and (hold on folks) PAPER CUT OUTS!  Yeah, that's right!! He loved it and had such a great party.
And here he is digging outside in a freshly covered trench.

Speaking of trenches, they are all covered now.  And, the city has finally approved our plans and we are on our way to a new house.  Our contractor has set up a facebook page for us (still in it's infancy) if you would like to watch the progress. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Frantz-Family-Home/157517207671528?sk=wall

First DAYS of school

So, both kids started preschool this year. Amazingly, I managed to get a picture of both on the actual first day of school!! They are both attending Little Builders Preschool run but the one and only Jaylyn Scholes.
Aaron was especially excited to get back to school. He goes three days a week for 2.5 hours. He learned to read last year and loves to write words he can sound out. I am excited for him to refine his reading and writing skills, but mostly I am excited for him to get out energy away from home, and come home tired! He will turn 5 this October and start kindergarten next year.
Leah was pretty pumped too. She goes one day a week for 1.5 hours. I won't lie, she is excited for the cool toys! I was going to stay with her on her first day but she was doing so well I thought I should go. I went to giver her a kiss and she backed away from me and started crying "I DON"T WANT TO GO!" There you have it, I have a little miss independent on my hands who doesn't need her mother. She had so much fun!
As for Mr Jeshua, he is doing great. He is scooting now and getting pretty fast at it. He HATES food and trying to feed him is a messy challenge. Too bad it is necessary for this little stinker.
The house is sorta underway! We hope to pour the foundation sometime next week! (cross your fingers) I just really want it enclosed before the rain starts, other than that I have no expectations anymore of when it will be done!
