Aaron's first day of Preschool

SO, unlike some of you GREAT parents, we did not get a picture of Aaron on his first day of school. BOO, I know. We are shooting for his second day of school, then we will be unique right?

Aaron loves his new preschool. There are two frogs there that are named Buzz and Woody that are his favorite! He painted a picture and a frame today, played with tractors and trains, learned about the capitol letter A, and read stories about the first day of school. As is typical of Aaron, he was totally excited to go in, but hid and cried when it was time to go home. He didn't want to come because he had so much fun. A big thank you to Mrs. J for a wonderful first day.

On their way out, they had to say magical words so that there would be dinosaurs in their class tomorrow. Aaron is totally pumped about going again.

scary moment

So, the next few post (I am sure) will be about the baby...that is the nature of the beast. I had my 12 week appointment yesterday and, as many of you know, they check the heartbeat of the baby. Our Dr. came in and put the Doppler on my belly and there was no heartbeat for about 3-4 min. She then dug in harder into my belly and still no heartbeat. I was scared at first, not a very fun moment. There was one point when our Dr. thought she had found it but couldn't get the reading, so that calmed my fears a little. She still decided to do a quick ultrasound so she could make sure. Well, good news the baby is fine and there is a little heartbeat in there. She said that 12 weeks is the earliest they can hear the heartbeat through the Doppler and that the baby was in a weird position so it wasn't picking it up. Whew!

So, we have another ultrasound tomorrow (routine) and we will get to see the baby again. Should be fun!

Our First Baby Appt.

So, we had the most "glorious" first appointment today. We had all our questions answered and saw baby #3!! We were so glad to see the heart pumping in there and to see that things were going well. The bad news, we are a little behind what we thought we were. Which means as of today we are 8 weeks a long... I guess we found out REALLY early and thought we were a little farther along. Oh well, it is healthy as of right now and that is all that matters!

Tyson spilled the beans!

So, the cat's out of the bag...We are expecting again! We were never so good at keeping secrets, so our endeavor to keep this thing quiet until AUGUST didn't quiet work out.

We are super excited and SUPER nervous. I don' think we really thought out what would happen when this thing is born:
- Our house is 900 sq feet with technically 2 bedrooms. Where is this thing going to live?
- Who is going to help me during sacrament meeting. Ty is in the bishopric, HOW will I deal with THREE rug rats.
- AND why do we do this time and time again when things never go as planned. I am already sticking out and in maternity clothes, and I am already sick sick sick. Happy days! I am only like 8 weeks or something.

oh well, enjoy the news and call us CRAZY!

pictures as promised

So, looking through our pictures, we have had a FUN year. Leah turned
one, Aaron turned three (and was potty trained) Tyson ran a triathlon, we moved... A LOT... and now we are enjoying our new place. the first two pictures are of our new place. The first is the drive way (cool huh?) and the second is the house from the driveway. We took tons of pictures but these were the best. There is also a really old barn on the back side of the property and two beautiful "mountains" we sit right in a canyon. We call this place "Granite Canyon". There is almost four acres here. As of right now, we have torn up all that beautiful grass and are putting in a sprinkler system. We also enjoy all the wild life. We have two marmots that live in a swell up in front and there are ducks that come by often, and on Mother's day we saw our first deer.

MY CUTE CHILDREN!!

The next few pictures are requests from my sister. The first is the photo wall that we did for my mom on Mother's day. Tyson took the pictures, he did a swell job huh? Sorry

.And this last bunch are of the cupcakes I made my mom for mother's day. She said she loves Chinese food. So, we made fried rice cupcakes, and pork chow mien noodle cupcakes! All edible and made out of candy. A little hard to eat when the look like that!! It was so much Fun.

If a lot of this was rambling sorry, I didn't proof it either!!!

Aaron's talk

Aaron gave his first talk in primary yesterday! He did so good. It was on the Prophet Joseph Smith. He held the microphone just right and said all his words and showed pictures. I guess it is moments like this we know why we had kids!! To make us proud.

We are finally settling in the new house. We will take pics, we just found our battery charger for the camera today while unpacking more boxes! So stay tuned!

FINAL DESTINATION

We have FINALLY made it to our final destination. We now occupy our new 900 sq ft house on 4 acres in the beautiful Northwest! We love it so much. When we took possession of the home we demoed the bathrooms (If that is what you can call them, they were SO tiny) and found lots of mold and other issues! we spent a week and a half cleaning, de-molding, and remodeling. Now, we have a more decent size bathroom and a small nursery for Leah. We then had to wait 2 more days for new flooring. THEN, we moved in!! It was so exciting, until we couldn't put up our bed because we lost the remotes to the pump (air bed). So, one more night at grandma's house. But we are here now and getting things put away, not an easy task. We are sizing down from 2600 sq ft to 900, but we love it. YAY for us!

my cake class

So, for my sister, here is my final cake for Wilton's cake decorating class 1. It was super fun and I think this cake turned out pretty spiffy.

And to leave you with.... my super cute little girl Leah.

So, since I last updated a lot has changed. We moved super quick from our house. Our buyers gave us a gracious 10 days to move out. It was a fast and challenging 10 days I can tell you that. We found a furnished apartment here on the West side of Post Falls. It has been super nice for moving purposes to not have to move all our stuff around. The kids have absoulutly loved being in our "new house". It is right on the river and we have awesome views of the damn and the park across the river. They love watcing the "geeses" und "ducklins". It seems they have grown so much while we have been here.
Aaron is FINALLY potty trained. I never thought I could find so much happieness from a simple part of life! Leah is nippin' on his heels and loves to sit on the potty. She has even gone number 1 a few times. I can't believe how much she loves to be like her brother. They are super fun to watch.
In two days we get to move AGAIN. We really thought our house would be available to move into by the end of Janurary, but no such luck. And we only rented this place through the end of Jan. so we are off to "bigger and better things". We are moving into Cindy and MArty Frantz's home while they are away for the winter. Tyson's sister Sarah will also be there with us. Should be fun. We can't wait to get to our property and have our own stuff again. The kids and us really miss our beds! Anyways that is the quick low down from the Frantz's.
